Wicked Cantina is Central Florida's Gulf Coast home for authentic, bold Austin-style Tex-Mex.
Don't mistake us for traditional Mexican cuisine.
We specialize in big, sizzling Texas flavor and legendary
handcrafted margaritas paired with warm, welcoming coastal vibes.
We operate a true from-scratch kitchen where quality comes first:
We arrive early every morning to slow-simmer our beans and prepare
all our meats using only Certified Angus Beef products, antibiotic-free chicken,
and wild-caught True Gulf of Mexico Grouper.
Behind every great plate is our extraordinary team.
We are deeply committed to being an employer of choice across the Suncoast,
fostering a supportive environment where our dedicated staff can grow, thrive,
and bring the heat every single shift.

All new hires at Wicked Cantina are required to complete a mandatory Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) orientation on their first day of employment to ensure a clear understanding of their federal rights and workplace protections. This interactive module outlines employee eligibility for up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave for qualifying medical and family events, such as serious health conditions, birth, adoption, or military caregiving. The training guides new team members through Wicked Cantina’s specific reporting procedures, detailing how to properly request leave, provide advance notice, and submit required medical documentation. Additionally, the course emphasizes how employee health benefits are maintained throughout the leave period and highlights the company's commitment to job reinstatement, giving every employee peace of mind from day one.
According to the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR), any food service employee who stores, prepares, displays, or serves food to the public must take food safety training. A food handler's card or certificate satisfies training and documentation requirements under the Florida DBPR.
